Snow...

...on the spuce in the back yard.

...missed him under the East eave on the garden shed. He was my favorite Hereford bull, hit by a water truck and had his leg hopelessly broken. Snapped and hanging below the fracture like a noodle. Found him down in the bottom of Anderson Wash the next day. Doc gave me the skull because he saw me crying for the old bull. He left some good daughters in the herd.

...and parsley umbels.

... and iron bells on the back porch.

...and my favorite baby llama pretending she can't see me.

  1. Do you still keep rabbits? What type of guard dogs do you use now? Jimmy couldn't remember.

  2. Yep! Right now a French Angora doe and a mini-Satin buck. Hoping to pick up a few more Angoras from my friend, Lisa, in Ohio. Two dogs right now... Winnie is a Pyrenees and Eleanor is Akbash.

How is everything going with you? Miss you guys. It was so good to see Jimmy and Priscilla last summer. Are you still working with a few horses?

  3. Everything is going good! We are trying to sell the house, which is going slow, but all in God's hands. :) I have three horses at the moment. Well two and a half... one's a Shetland x.

Do your dogs work together or separately? I was reading about this one guy and his dogs work as a pack and coordinate to hunt down predators. I've never heard of anyone else doing it that way.
